A Michigan winter is hard on an RV that isn't properly closed up. A cracked water line or a split water heater is the common, expensive version of that mistake. We come to you anywhere in Southeast Michigan, close the water system down properly in the fall, and open it back up in the spring. Either way you get a written report of everything we did.
Winterization Package
We close your camper up against the freeze, working through our checklist so nothing in the water system gets missed.
- Drain the fresh water tank
- Drain the water heater and remove the anode rod/plug
- Blow out all water lines with compressed air (toilets, showers, sinks, washer, ice maker)
- Pump RV anti-freeze through water lines (water heater bypass must be installed)
- Fill P-Traps with anti-freeze
- Includes up to 2 gallons of RV anti-freeze

Dewinterization
We open your camper back up and work through our checklist, so the first trip of the season is not also the shakedown run.
- Flush RV water lines
- Install water filter
- Reinstall anode rod

When should I winterize my RV in Michigan?+−
Before the first hard freeze, typically by mid-to-late October in Southeast Michigan. Waiting too long risks cracked water lines and a ruined water heater.
What does your winterization service include?+−
Draining the fresh water tank and water heater, blowing out all water lines, pumping RV antifreeze through the system (up to 2 gallons included), filling P-traps, and a detailed checklist report of everything completed.
How long does it take?+−
Most winterizations are completed in a single visit, usually about an hour depending on your RV's systems.
Is it too late if I forgot to winterize?+−
Call us. If something's already frozen or cracked, we can inspect for damage and repair it. The sooner you call, the less likely it's spread.
When should I schedule dewinterization for spring?+−
A few days before your first trip is ideal. That gives us time to flush lines, reinstall the anode rod, test batteries, and catch anything, like a cracked line, before you're camping.
Do you winterize the whole RV, or just the water system?+−
Our package also covers appliance winterization and a roof & seal inspection, so we catch other cold-weather risks while we're already there.
